The video that started it all

Well, it was definitely the point in my life when I decided I wanted to make videos.

Diabetes: The Musical

My bestfriend, Kevin Samuelson, and I were allowed to meander the halls of our highschool, unsupervised, on a quiet Saturday afternoon. Accompanying us was our friend, Joel Zeitoun, as we had a class project to film. We had maybe a month or so to work on these “senior projects” we had to do in our English classes. A couple weeks into the project, we had to have something to show our teachers that we’ve been working hard – we had nothing. Thus, we scrambled together and filmed this short video (which has NOTHING to do with our final project) in a few hours. The final project is not nearly as awesome as this “trailer” we made. We were really into the television show “Entourage” at the time, so we decided to copy their trailer for “Medellin.” I’m sure we’re committing dozens of copyright infringements, but hey, we were just a bunch of kids. The full version of our final project can be seen on Vimeo, but I will warn you that it’s almost a half-hour long of low-quality boringness.
